Note that some privacy settings on mobile devices might disable event functionality, so you might have more success on a desktop or tablet.

My company, agency, or organization may wish to cover my membership. What membership should we get, and how should we pay for it?
The best course of action is to confirm this matter with a representative from your company, organization, or agency and have them reach out to APT staff if they need to move to a different membership category. There are several levels of membership from which to choose (see here). Once the level is determined, the company/organization can join online or contact the Director of Operations for assistance.

How does the Corporate Membership work?
A Corporate Membership is ideal for companies or other entities that would like to cover three (3) or more employee memberships. These members can be selected at the same time or during the year as long as one person is initially linked to the account. The individuals linked to the account can also be changed as needed during the year. Corporate Membership allows for further visibility for the company as the company name is included on the APT website as well as in the APT Bulletin. The Corporate membership has four price levels based on how many members they would like linked to the account. (See pricing chart.) Full details about each level are available here.

How does the Government/Nonprofit Membership work?
A Government/Nonprofit Membership is for Government and Nonprofit entities. The Government/Nonprofit Membership has three price levels based on how many members are linked to the account. (See pricing chart.) These members can be selected when joining or added during the year as long as one person is initially linked to the account. The individuals linked to the account can also be changed as needed during the year. Government/Nonprofit Membership membership allows for further visibility for the organization as the organization's name is included on the APT website as well as in the APT Bulletin. Full details about each level are available here.

This membership level is intended for those that wish to just receive Communiqué and the APT Bulletin. Typically this level is best for libraries or other academic and research institutions. The Institution level does not include discounted registration rates for the conference or other programming. Full details about this membership type are available here.

How does the Emerging Professional Membership work?
This is a membership level with a reduced price point for people within four years of entering the preservation field from a college, university, or trade apprenticeship program, with dues of $100 in the first year and increasing by $20 per year thereafter. After four years, renewing members must select another Membership category such as Individual. This level receives the same benefits as an Individual Member.
