We love partnering with Holiday Heroes at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn. We’ve seen firsthand how a simple visit from a child’s favorite character can completely change their day.

One of our patients, a seven-year-old girl struggling with a long hospital stay, adored Ghost Spider (‘Gwen’) from Spider-Verse. When Ghost Spider came to visit, the impact was immediate. Her spirits lifted, she eagerly jumped into the craft activities, and proudly showed her photo with Ghost Spider to everyone on the unit.

Moments like these are incredibly healing - not just for our patients, but for their families and the care teams as well. Holiday Heroes is true source of joy in our hospital.
