WHY HOLIDAY HEROES?
Holiday Heroes brings joy and comfort to pediatric patients through in-person celebrations, virtual programs, and Hero Packs—our signature curated activity kits designed to uplift patients and their families while staying in hospitals.
All programs are provided at no cost thanks to our generous donors.
Hospitalized children and their families experience a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety when dealing with serious or prolonged illnesses. Hospitals, although healing environments are not designed to provide the kind of interaction that kids require to have a healthy social psyche.
Holiday Heroes provides an escape for pediatric patients, allowing them to just be kids and to focus on healthy social interaction as opposed to their medical condition. Our "parties" create life-long memories that improve the patients' quality of life and improve their likelihood of holistic recovery.
