Our Mission

Holiday Heroes provides joy and improved quality of life to pediatric patients through a combination of in-person and virtual programs. Holiday Heroes uses its experiences, creativity, resources, and passion to inspire long-lasting joy and happy memories for pediatric patients and their families, thereby making a positive impact on their recoveries and their lives.

Lynn Reckamp

Lynn Reckamp
Executive Director

Lynn Reckamp serves as the Executive Director of Holiday Heroes, bringing with her a diverse professional background, strong leadership experience, and a deep passion for community impact.


Lynn began her career in sales, working for several different companies and developing strong relationship-building, communication, and business development skills. She later made the decision to step away from the workforce to focus on raising her four children, spending 16 years as a dedicated stay-at-home mom.


When she returned to her professional career, Lynn moved into the interior design industry, where she managed an interior design studio and retail store for eight years. In this role, she oversaw operations, worked closely with clients, and led a creative team to deliver exceptional design experiences.


Lynn then transitioned into community leadership as the Executive Director of Downtown Crystal Lake. In that role, she worked closely with the 120 businesses that make up the downtown district and led the planning and execution of numerous community special events that helped bring vibrancy and connection to the area.


Today, as Executive Director of Holiday Heroes, Lynn has truly found her perfect fit. The organization’s mission is deeply personal to her, and she is passionate about the work being done to support pediatric patients and their families. Lynn is proud to lead an incredible team and is excited about continuing to grow the organization’s impact and serve even more families in the years ahead. 




Maggie Drain

Maggie Drain
Director of Operations & Partnership Liaison

Maggie Drain handles all of the accounting, and operations, and assists with our programming at Holiday Heroes to keep our day-to-day interactions with hospital staff and patients running smoothly.


Maggie's background in Child Life is what brought her to Holiday Heroes and its ability to impact the lives of children across the country, which is her passion. "I am in a fortunate position to put smiles on the faces who need it most and want to extend that reach to as many children as I can."


When Maggie is off duty, she loves spending time with her beautiful kids, and loving husband and takes advantage of any opportunity to travel and explore new places with them.



Dana LaLonde

Dana oversees all of the programming coordination at Holiday Heroes. This includes creating and implementing what goes into all of our craft kits, leading packing parties in the community, and coordinating volunteers and students.


Dana is a certified child life specialist, who first worked with Holiday Heroes as one of our hospital partners for 7 years before joining our team. Dana uses her knowledge of child development and experiences directly working with kids in hospitals to create meaningful and developmentally-appropriate resources for our families. "When a kid is stuck in the hospital, most days are filled with uncertainty, bad news, and loss of typical routines. I am so grateful to work with an organization that brings fun, play, creativity, and normalcy into hospital rooms"


When Dana isn't working, she loves to read, travel, enjoy outdoor activities and nature, and spend time with her dog, husband, and baby.




Tiffany Kucharski

Tiffany Kucharski spent nearly a decade growing multi-million dollar accounts — from State Farm, Walgreens, and McDonald’s to Verizon and HP — for the startup-turned-global-powerhouse Pandora. After leaving Pandora, I was inspired to help other leaders and professionals navigate career transitions and next chapters, which led me to pursue training in Life Coaching.


Following my own coaching advice to align purpose with action, I ultimately turned that passion into impact by stepping into the role of Program Director for the Holiday Heroes Foundation. 


Our mission is to bring joy and improve the quality of life for pediatric patients and their families. In my role, I design and implement programming that supports children’s emotional coping and development, and I coordinate community events to pack supplies and mobilize volunteers in support of our hospital partners in the Nashville area, as well as across Chicagoland.


I am also a Certified Life and Executive Coach.
